Box Description: The chassis of this van has a wheelbase of 2.553m (8' 4 1/2") and is fitted with a 2 cylinder 1204cc engine, giving a top speed of 40 k.p.h. (25 m.p.h.) These vehicles were very reliable and long wearing. They were produced with a variety of bodies and were put to many uses. This reliability was tested fully during World War 1, for it was the basis of the famous "taxi de la marne" many of which carried French troops to the front lines. Scale 1:38
This die-cast and plastic model car was made in 1984 and released by Matchbox International Limited after Lesney went bankrupt. The car is approximately 5 inches long and approximately 2 inches tall.
Condition: Berbly Toys does not guarantee mint boxes or products. For this particular model, the box has damage and wear. There is also torn cardboard due to the removal of a retail sticker. The model car's plastic roof has three plastic pieces that are broken off. The roof could be glued, however the car would no longer fit in the box. The broken pieces are included. The letter 'A' in "Eagle" on the roof at the front has a spot where the plastic is dented. This is a previously owned product.
