Lesney Matchbox 1-75 Regular Wheels
From 1953 through 1969, Lesney produced Matchbox cars in a series ranging from 1 (Road Roller) through 75 (Ford Thunderbird and Ferrari Berlinetta). The series was retired after Hot Wheels began producing cars with low friction axles and tires that produced a smoother, faster movement than the competition. In order to meet the challenge, the regular wheels were left behind in favor of the Superfast Series.
