Lesney Matchbox Superfast #40 Vauxhall Guildsman | Black Circle Flame

Sizing and Description: This die-cast and plastic model car was made in 1971 and is #40 A in the Superfast Series. The car body is pink with blue/green glass, cream interior, plastic tow hook, black plastic wheels, and an unpainted base. Most notably, the label on the hood which is a black circle with a star in the center and  flame coming out is less common than the blue variety. The car is approximately 2 3/4 inches long and 1 inch tall.

Condition: This model car is loose with no packaging. There are some paint chips/loss throughout as well as dark marks particularly noticeable on the hood. Metal is sticky/tacky throughout which is fairly common for older Matchbox cars. Label shows some fading and wear. Some scuffing and scratches on windows. Three cracks about a quarter inch in length can be seen on  the windshield and rear window.Some oxidation on axle ends. This is a previously owned product.
